Speed and comfort go hand in hand—focus on your legs, not your saddle. Creating Specialized’s Sitero took the collaboration of engineers, doctors and pro athletes and resulted in a new breed of aero-position saddle. Traditionally, the “sit bones” or Ischial Tuberosities bones have been used for support. The Sitero places you further forward on your Pubic Rami bones, allowing you to roll your hips forward for a more aero, powerful position without any unnecessary nose width or length to mis-align your hips or cause pressure. The triangular shape of the Sitero parallels the shape of the supportive Pubic Rami bones, which takes the weight off soft tissue, improves blood flow and range of motion, and makes the Sitero fit all size riders—everyone’s Pubic Rami bones have the same shape. Most importantly, the Sitero keeps you comfortably tucked in the aero position for hours, increases gluteal-activation, opens your hips and saves you time and energy. Even the cover surface was meticulously designed, incorporating a non-slip fabric on the Sit Zone to keep you from sliding around, while the low-friction sides allow your legs to glide freely.

I have one SITERO in my mountain bike, I been race some xterra, my frame don't have the second place for cage water I choice that model because that, its funny looking but for me work very good.
Made the jump for this saddle with carbon rails 2 days prior to my IM. Was apprehensive at 1st because changing the saddle could mean re-fit. Bit the bullet and dialed it in with the same saddle height as my previous couch (Spez TTS 143mm width) and wow... It definitely provided adequate support on my sit bones even when seated near the tip and I was able to have a wider hip angle due to the shape of the nose. Everything was almost bang on and it only required some minor tweaks. I was able to get into a slightly more aero position without sacrificing any pedal stroke efficiency. Hardly shifted positions throughout the bike leg except during the climbs. Agreed that the rails could've offered a little more aft adjustment even though I didn't really need it. My only minor gripe is that the cushioning could've been a little more softer. A well thought out product and definitely worth a try for those still searching for your perfect saddle. Highly recommended.
1 month before IM Brasil I was having a saddle crisis and suffering from chaffing from the tips of the seat I was using on my tri bike. I saw the Sitero had just been released and managed to find one on a trip up to the USA. I bought it, put it on my bike and rode 50k on day 1, 120K the following day and had no problems. The super slick sides offer no resistance to a rubbing leg. Just returned form IM Brasil 26-May-2013 and would like to say thanks as your saddle solved my problem, delivered outstanding position, support, relief and comfort over the 180K trip and set me up well to run. Thank-you
