2016 Specialized Enduro Comp 29

Shred the whole mountain! The all-mountain Specialized Enduro Comp 29 is built to pedal up and absolutely crush it back down. The lightweight yet rugged M5-aluminum frame features 155mm of active, efficient FSR rear suspension and is adorned with a whole slew of sweet components. A plush 160mm RockShox Pike fork, a Fox Float Performance rear shock with AutoSag, and a 1x11 SRAM drivetrain keeps this rig shredding all over the mountain no matter what the terrain throws at you. And up or down, traction and full-zest cornering are yours with the 29-inch Roval Fattie wheels and tubeless-ready Specialized Butcher and Slaughter tires making short work of everything you're screaming towards. What's more, the Comp is spec'd with wide Specialized bars and sure-stopping SRAM Guide discs. Top it all off with Specialized's renowned Body Geometry saddle and Command Post dropper post for more pure shredding goodness.

        I ride down hill and XC, bought the 20 Enduro Comp 6 months ago and have only been back to the shop for a tire repair. I Ride weekly at the least putting in an average of 10 to 12 miles per ride. The shifting and braking a solid I have read where others have upgraded and I see no reason to do so! The shifting is crisp and has not faltered a bit. The breaking was good enough to keep me under control at speeds up to 30 mph downhill. Out with friends yesterday and we switch up bikes one rides a Giant trance 650b, the other a 29er hardtail (so he barely counts..lol). But on X trails neither bike felt as effortless or as in control as the Enduro, Plan on buying another for my son. If the bike needs anything mine did not come with a dropper post, that is on my list of things to get.

          This thing is an absolute mountain crusher. It's allowed me to destroy my old DH times while still allowing me to compete with my cross-country and uphill times. I really can't say enough about it. The gnarlier the trail the better for me and this beast can take the beating. Love it!
